iPlayTV instructions are shown here! The app enables you to stream channels on your IPTV device.
With iPlayTV, you’ll easily get started and access channels from around the world!
iPlayTV is, in our opinion, one of the best apps in the same league as IPTVX for watching IPTV on Apple TV. It’s very easy to get started with, and the app allows you to upload your channels in the following ways:
The app works very well with Apple TV. However, we always recommend clearing unnecessary unused apps and having a newer model since most IPTV lists today are very large and contain hundreds of thousands of titles such as Channels, movies, series, documentaries, etc.
Instructions on how to complete the installation can be found here. Usually, it takes about 5-15 minutes to get started when first trying to set up TV channels on your Apple TV. If you get stuck and need help, you can always contact our support.
It’s recommended to upload your IPTV playlist using Xtream Server (using the username, password, and Portal URL that you receive from us with purchase or free trial).
This is because your EPG (Program Guide) will then be installed automatically in the background. If you choose the M3U link option, you’ll need to manually enter your EPG link that you receive from us. The app is one of the most popular IPTV apps for Apple TV as their interface is very simple compared to IPTVX and other apps in the same category. The app is only available for Apple TV. IPTV with TVIP box is also a good way to watch IPTV.
Launch the app and press the large Plus sign “Add Playlist“.
Press “Xtream Server“
Choose a name for your new list. In this case, we chose “Channels“. Make sure “Channel Refresh” and “EPG Refresh” are set to 12 Hours. Then press “Save”
Now you’ve saved your channel list. Select it using your remote control.
Done! 🙂
iPlayTV on Apple TV works excellently. The app works perfectly on Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 5. You’ll notice the quality when you get to test it at your own pace. That’s why we recommend starting with 1-3 months. Unfortunately, the app cannot be downloaded on Apple TV 3 as it’s too old. Even though the app doesn’t have many ratings on the App Store, there are forums and other places where many have rated the app well (about 4/5). There are other apps of similar quality, but iPlayTV has been in the game for a long time and is likely to stay.
Keep in mind that our tests are only one hour long, so make the most of the test and try to plan so it doesn’t go to waste.
iPlayTV with Apple TV is definitely in the top 3 for best IPTV viewing combinations. If it’s not as good as IPTVX, it’s definitely close behind. The interface is very good but not quite as good as IPTVX. However, iPlayTV is very simple and a “lightweight” app that doesn’t take up as much space as other apps. Their servers work well with Apple TV even during major events when many people use the app simultaneously. For the best experience, we recommend connecting a network cable between your Apple TV and router, even though the app itself is very stable.

How do you install iPlayTV on Apple TV?
To install the app on your Apple TV, start by downloading the app from the App Store. Once you’ve done that, read through the instructions for how the app works on your specific device. Then request a free trial by clicking the button below. Instructions can be found further up on this page.
Is iPlayTV free?
No, the app is not free. You also can’t test it for free before buying like you can with many other similar apps. The app costs about 10 EUR.
How do you get subtitles on iPlayTV?
You get subtitles on the app by swiping up on your Apple TV remote when you’re on a movie, series, documentary, or channel. On mobile and tablet, it’s the same principle, but you tap the screen to bring up the settings when you’re on a channel.
You can use the following devices to watch IPTV
Most titles have subtitles automatically loaded along with the channels. If certain channels don’t have subtitles, they’re unfortunately not available. Remember that you should log in with the Xtream Server option to automatically get subtitles and EPG.
Most titles do have subtitles. In some cases, you can upload subtitles from your own sources. However, we don’t offer support for this as our focus is on more important tasks for our customers.
If you want to know more about subtitles for your app, it is usually just a Google search away.
EPG (Electronic Program Guide) is available on the app. On many apps, you need to manually copy and paste an EPG link (XML) provided by us upon purchase.
However, some apps fetch EPG information when you log in with Xtreamcodes API without you having to manually add anything. If your app can only receive M3U links, you will most likely need to manually upload an xml epg link.
