Instructions for Smart STB
Smart STB can be downloaded to most devices today. The app is relatively easy and convenient to get started with and is recommended for those familiar with the app from before. However, it is not the easiest app to get started with. We recommend starting with IPTV Smarters and then moving on to a more advanced app that is thus a bit more stable (such as Tivimate) and has a better interface if you are a beginner. We have gathered the guides for the app on this page so you can quickly get started on your specific device, whether you have an Apple TV, Smart TV, or another device.

The app can be downloaded from Play Store.
Smart STB is, as it sounds, the most advanced version of the apps. However, it is fairly easy to get started with. The app allows you to upload your channels in the following ways:
- M3U link
- Portal URL (via the app or their website).
In this case, it is recommended to upload your IPTV channels directly via the portal. See the instructions below.
Step 1
Start by downloading the app. When you start it, this screen will appear. If it doesn’t disappear on its own, press the “OK” button. Accept the app’s terms if prompted, and also accept that you get a 7-day trial of the app.
NOTE! You need to retrieve your “Virtual MAC Address” and enter it in the form when you request your free trial/purchase our service. See step 3.
Step 2
When you then see this screen in the picture, quickly press the “OK” button to access the settings. If you don’t manage to do this, the screen may go black and get stuck in that mode. In that case, you need to restart the app or, in the worst case, the TV by unplugging the power cord.
Step 3
Select “Device info” to retrieve your “Virtual MAC address“. Write it down and double-check your spelling.
Select “Embedded portal” to get to the screen you see in this step. Once you’re here, select “Portals“.
Step 4
The “Multiportal mode” should be enabled. Make sure the option “Use portal 1” is enabled so you can add your own portal URL by scrolling further down the page.
Step 5
In the “Name” field, enter “iptvking.co“. In the “URL 1” field, enter our Portal URL that you receive when you request a free trial or purchase our service.
To test our service with the Smart STB app, you first need to find out your Virtual MAC address (which starts with 00:1A:79). You then enter it in the form on the link below after selecting the Smart STB app in the menu.

Where can I download the app?
The app can be downloaded from Play Store and App Store to your device. However, we do not recommend this app for Apple devices.
Only download the app from a well-known source such as the App Store or Play Store. This is because you might accidentally download viruses if you’re not careful.
Which devices can I use?
Smart TV
Smart STB with Smart TV is a good combination when other options are not available. The app is relatively smooth on TVs as it is designed to work well on Smart TV devices, but it is tricky to get started with. The app is available on most LG, Sony, Samsung, and Philips TVs. Even if the app works well with your device, it is recommended to use a better app such as Tivimate instead.

Nvidia Shield
Smart STB with Nvidia Shield is not the best solution as the app is tricky to get started with. Even if the app works well with your device, it is recommended to use a better app such as SET IPTV instead.
Android Box
Smart STB with Android Box works quite well to start with. Even if the app works well with your device, it is recommended to use a better app such as Tivimate as that app has a better interface and more stable servers.
Xiomi Mi
Smart STB with Xiomi Mi S Box or Xiomi Mi Stick are unfortunately not the best devices for IPTV viewing when compared to, for example, Apple TV. This is because the processor in both devices is not the strongest. If you want to watch IPTV with Xiomi Mi devices, it is certainly possible, and the experience can still be good. However, if you are looking for a more stable, smoother, and long-term solution, this method is not preferable.
Formuler Box
Smart STB with Formuler Box works quite okay. However, the Formuler box is designed as a slightly different Android box for IPTV as it has its own IPTV app MyTVOnline. MyTVOnline apps are much better than the STB app, and therefore it is recommended to use them instead. [custom-step-guide id=”26005″]

How to install Smart STB on Smart TV?
To install the app on your Smart TV (Samsung, Google TV, LG, or other brands), start by downloading the app from the Play Store. Once you’ve done that, read through the instructions on how the app works on your specific device. Then request a free trial by clicking the button below.
Is Smart STB free?
No, the app is not free. However, they offer a free 7-day trial before you have to purchase the full version for about 20 EUR per year.
How to get subtitles on Smart STB?
You can get subtitles on the app by pressing the red button on your remote control. However, many have reported that the later versions of the app no longer support subtitles. Therefore, another app is recommended.

Smart STB Subtitles
Unfortunately, subtitles work poorly on this app. If subtitles are important to you, you should choose another app.
Most titles have subtitles that automatically load with the channels when you start the app. If some channels do not have subtitles, they unfortunately do not, even though most do. In some cases, you can upload subtitles from your own sources, but this is not something we recommend or support as our focus is on more important tasks for our customers.
